Picnic At The Parsonage A Party!

This past Sunday, after the regular morning Sunday morning gathering, twenty-eight Living Hope worshipers met at the home of Pastor and Debbie Hamstra for a holiday weekend picnic for the purpose of developing deeper and more authentic relationships with each other. The simple menu included sub-sandwiches, chips, relishes, and, for desert, ice cream sandwiches, but the most important part of the picnic was not the food, but the fellowship between friends. We also learned that the emerging congregation called "Living Hope Church" includes a geographically diverse group of people. When asked "Where did you graduate from High School?", we heard cities ranging from Canada to Florida and California to New York, with a bunch of cities in between.  Yet, in God's providence, we have been brought together for such a time as this.
