Over 210 people gathered for worship this past Sunday as Living Hope Church welcomed, as its guests, the 100 participants of the Multiethnic Conference of the Christian Reformed Church in North America (CRCNA), as well as many delegates to "Synod," the annual meeting of the CRCNA. In the Living Hope's regular meeting space was being utilized by the "Synod," the service took place in the Kallemyn Theatre, located in the Arts and Communication Center, on the campus of Trinity Christian College. The theatre was nearly filled to capacity, with many people gathering in the balcony (see picture below). Rev. Esteban Lugo (pictured below), Director of the Race Relations Office for the CRCNA, offered a message from Acts 2 entitled "Reversing the Babel In Our Relationships," and the Living Hope Band and Choir accompanied the passionate worship of the congregation.

I just wanted to say thank you for the wonderful way you led us in worship during the MultiEthnic conference last weekend. Your warm hospitality very much made me feel a part of your congregation that morning. It was a delight to worship with you as you brought us into the presence of our Lord together. May our Lord continue to bless and guide you as you journey together there in Palos Heights! A delegate to the Synod of the CRCNA
