This past Sunday, Living Hope Church celebrated its first birthday with a half day of activities. The day began in the Grand Lobby of the Ozinga Chapel (on the campus of Trinity Christian College) when about 100 people gathered for weekly worship. The service included plenty of praise and prayer, as well as a message from Living Hope's founding pastor, Sam Hamstra. After worship, the congregation walked to the Trinity Christian College Dining Hall where it enjoyed fellowship over food. Then, the congregation returned to the Grand Lobby for praise, testimony, and prayers.
Living Hope Chuch, an intentionally multi-ethnic congregation in the Reformed tradition, first gathered for worship on Sunday, September 21, 2008. On that day 125 people gathered for worship in the Grand Lobby. Since that Sunday, by God's grace, Living Hope has gathered each week for passionate worship, relevant teaching, authentic community, and dynamic partnership with the Lord. And, by God's grace, it will continue to gather for worship.
