HS Fellowship Up & Running

The Living Hope High School Fellowship is up and running, or should we say, eating. The group met for the first time on Wednesday, September 23, when Pastor Hamstra took four guys to Mama Vesuvio's for some pizza and fellowship. The key scripture passage on that first night was Proverbs 3:5-6, words that teach us to entrust our futures to the Lord.  Then, last Wednesday, the same gang met at Gus' house for some awesome tacos and fellowship (pictured below). That night, the conversation focused on honoring God in everything we do - which included leaving the kitchen spotless! Tonight, the group will meet again at Gus' place. Looks like the menu will be lasagna and the conversation will include updates on homecoming. Pastor Hamstra will also begin a series of conversations on the basics of the Christian faith, using the Apostles' Creed as an outline. Tonight's talk is on "I Believe."
