Baptism Sunday

We’re all a part of God’s family, and this past Sunday, Living Hope celebrated  two members of its growing congregation.  On a hot and sunny day that declared God’s handiwork, Tyce Hamstra and Malachi O’Neal were baptized in the presence of their families: both biological and spiritual.  Despite being unable to meet in our usual worship space, our army of volunteers pitched tents and created a Sunday gathering reminiscent of the Israelites’ outdoor gatherings.  We are thankful for all the friends and family of the O’Neals and Hamstras who were able to join this celebration.  And we were especially thankful that Mark Hamstra (home from Afghanistan) was able to share in this joyous day, not only with his son, but with the entire Living Hope family.  We are all committed to pray for, support, and encourage these newly-baptized children of God.  Click here to watch a video of the baptisms.
