Celebrate Second Anniversary

Yesterday, Living Hope Church celebrated its second anniversary! The congregation gathered after about six months of preparation for its first public service in the Grand Lobby of the Ozinga Chapel (on the campus of Trinity Christian College) on Sunday, September 21, 2008.  Nearly 100 people gathered for the second anniversary service. Those gathered included people from many walks of life and many tribes and nations, reflecting the congregation's prayer to experience a little bit of heaven on earth. The group was greeted with coffee and cupcakes (a step up from our usual cookies). The service began with some passionate worship prompted by Dan Lugo and a group of dedicated musicians, most of which have been with us since the beginning. The service continued with a message from our Founding and Lead Pastor, Sam Hamstra, and concluded with a season of intercessory prayer led by Courtney Schutt.
