Back to the Future!

In the New Testament we read that Christians gathered in homes on the first day of the week to break bread and eat together. This past Sunday, Living Hope took a page from that script. At about 9:00 the congregation of about 35 people (and one cat) began gathering at the home of Pastor and Debbie Hamstra. The fellowship began with breakfast as each household brought a breakfast dish to share with others. Following breakfast, the congregation participated in a time of worship, instruction, prayer, and the Lord's Supper. The service marked the return of Pastor Hamstra who had been sidelined for four weeks following knee surgery. In his message, he encouraged those gathered to declare their dependence upon the Lord.
