The Board of Trustees of Living Hope Church met on Monday, December 29, to thank the Lord that, in just over three months time, the average attendance for the Sunday morning weekly gathering is 62. Then, the Trustees began praying that, by the end of 2009, the Lord would increase the average attendance form 62 to 100. The Trustee meeting also included:
- Thanksgiving for the development of a multi-generational and multi-ethnic ministry team of Pastor Sam Hamstra, Pastor James Washington, Pastor John Elifson, Seminary Intern Dan Lugo, and Seminary Intern Tabrasia O'Neal,
- Affirmation of Pastor Hamstra's role as a Adjunct Professor of Worship at Northern Seminary in Lombard, IL,
- Thanksgiving for generous gifts from friends of Living Hope Church and a financial which forecasts ending the calendar year "in the black,"
- Thanksgiving that Trinity Christian College will allow the congregation to continue gathering in the Grand Lobby of the Ozinga Chapel, and
- Approval of a budget for the 2009 calendar year, which includes a stipend for a part-time Administrative Assistant position.
