Third Chapter - Where do we go from here?

The short history of Living Hope Church may be broken into three chapters, the first of which was a season of preparation, core group development, vision casting, and the like. The second began on September 21, 2008 when we experienced our first public gathering.  Since that time we have gathered each Sunday, with rare exceptions, on the campus of Trinity Christian College. God has formed a congregation of about fifty people and, during the academic year, we minister to another fifty or so students.

Now, the congregation will take a month to pray, study, reflect, discuss some basic questions.  Lord, would you like to continue Chapter Two or write a new chapter?  If the latter, what will it look like? What would you have us change? Might it include opportunities to incorporate more people into the fellowship?  Might it include more intentional disciplesip?

Members of Living Hope Church will gather on the four Wednesdays of August. The first gathering will take place on the campus of Stone Church in Palos Heights (6330 W. 127th Street). The last three meetings will take place at the home of Pastor and Debbie Hamstra.  Weather permitting, the group will meet outside.  Each gathering will begin at 7 PM and conclude by 9 PM.
